About Us

Teens and Toddlers was formerly Children Our Ultimate Investment UK (COUI). The name changed in mid-2012. Teens and Toddlers refers to the name of the charity and the programme we run.

The aim of the charity is to tackle disadvantage and social exclusion through delivering a practical youth development programme, Teens and Toddlers. This innovative programme fosters, through intensive interaction with small children and classroom time, greater self-aspiration and hope for the future, as well as educational attainment. We inspire young people to achieve the skills, qualifications and self belief they need to succeed in education, work and life. Our vision is a society where all young people feel valued, included and inspired to contribute to their communities.

The young people we help are often poor, from broken homes and disengaged from school. With limited life skills, they despair about their chances of gaining a good education, finding work and achieving their dreams. They are also at high risk of crime, drugs and teenage pregnancy, which has a major impact on their communities.
