Believing in young people
Teens and Toddlers is a rapidly expanding charity with a big vision and great ambitions for the young people we serve. We intend to deliver a national programme which can be replicated throughout the UK as a sustainable early intervention programme for vulnerable young people and small children. We take an innovative and evidence-based approach, which gives our partners excellent value for money by addressing the issues faced by young people and vulnerable small children head on and early.
Our overall aim over the next three years is to fundraise over £2.4 million to transform the lives of a total of 9,500 vulnerable teens and children across the UK. This would achieve a total of over 16,000 teens and small children from our foundation in 2001 to 2014. We aim to reach these numbers of children with positive effects on their lives, such as prevention of NEET (not in employment, education and training) and teenage pregnancy and to support the development and school readiness of small children. We will continue to involve and support our graduates as they broaden the reach of subsequent benefits of the Teens and Toddlers programme to the wider community and so build a sense of community service and purpose.
