NEET rates and programme's efficacy at influencing EET

  • 95.4% of respondents were in education, employment or training (EET)
  • A pilot conducted with the teachers revealed that the average of teenagers (rated by the teachers) predicted to become NEET before 18 years old was 45%
  • 68% obtained 5 or more GCSE grades (A-C)
  • 94% felt they learned that having a good education can give them more choices
  • 81% felt that doing Teens and Toddlers motivated them to try harder academically
  • 87% felt that doing Teens and Toddlers motivated them to want more for themselves vocationally

Pregnancy incidents and efficacy at influencing conception

  • 95.6% of graduates under the age of 18 did not report a pregnancy incident
  • A pilot conducted with the teachers revealed that the average of teenagers (rated by the teachers) predicted to become pregnant before 18 years old was 45%
  • 83% of respondents reported that the programme had a positive effect in influencing them to increase the age at which they would like to have children
  • 97% felt that over 19 years old was an ideal age to have a child. The mean age was 25 years old and above
  • 91% of participants reported that Teens and Toddlers helped them understand more about sexual health and the realities of having babies
  • 93% felt that during Teens and Toddlers they learned about sexual health
