Evaluation
Research: understanding the results of your investment
Every Teens and Toddlers programme has an integral qualitative and quantitative evaluation and reporting process. The research is focused on educational and outcome measurements and the efficacy of the programme with an overall aim to deliver a solid and systematic evaluation which explores both short and the long term impacts of Teens and Toddlers.
In addition Teens and Toddlers undertakes retrospective analysis and evaluation of the impact of their programmes.
The most recent research looked at 200 graduates exploring attitudes to Teens and Toddlers as well as whether or not individuals had become pregnant - or created a pregnancy in the case of male subjects.
The results indicate zero pregnancies in the 16-18 age group and one pregnancy in the over-18 age group.
In additional positive responses were gathered on the usefulness of the programme and its value to participants.
Individual projects are subject to the following specific measures:
- teenage pregnancy levels
- acceptable ages for becoming a parent
- attitudes towards the importance of relationships in parenting.
- attitudes towards responsible sex
- knowledge of facts and implications of sexual and health behaviours
- knowledge of and attitudes towards the importance of a healthy lifestyle during pregnancy and beyond
- attitudes towards acceptable behaviours towards children
- attitudes towards alternative life goals e.g., career, financial, independence, attitudes towards the future
- self-esteem
- emotional literacy
- citizenship skills.
Teens and Toddlers would be pleased to discuss bespoke research and evaluation tailored to client requirements.
