Zonta International Charity Auction and Dinner at Roast restaurant … and Happy 10th Birthday!

On Sunday, 18 September, women's organisation, Zonta International, hosted a charity dinner and auction in our honour at the celebrated restaurant Roast in Borough Market.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to Iqbal Wahhab, OBE, owner of Roast, for his generous hospitality in sponsoring all of the food and drink and allowing us to experience dining at its finest. Guests included leading corporates such as Deutsche Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers and The Consulting Consortium. The event was a tremendous success, raising £14,000!

And on Thursday, 29 September 2011, the charity held its 10 Year Birthday Party! This event, held at the elegant offices of the Duke of Westminster's Grosvenor Estate in Mayfair, attracted over 100 guests to an evening of drinks, canapés and musical entertainment (from our talented young people). We were proud to raise a glass or two in celebration of all that has been achieved and to our continued ambition to transform the lives of even more young people.
