Greater Manchester's Interim Mayor Celerates Young Mentors’ Achievements at Regional Awards Ceremony Hundreds of young people have had their achievements championed by Greater Manchester’s Interim Mayor Tony Lloyd as they celebrated their successful completion of our Aim4More programme in April. Pupils from 15 secondary schools from across Greater Manchester were presented with Teens and Toddlers award certificates at a graduation ceremony co-hosted by the National Football Museum. Speaking at the event Mr Lloyd said: “This is an outstanding project. Aim4More allows students to tap in to skills they might not know that they have, helping them become more confident and successful learners. The fact that students benefit by helping some of Greater Manchester youngest learners makes this project even more special. “This is an exciting time for Greater Manchester and more than ever young people have the chance to shape the future of our city-region. For Greater Manchester to succeed we’ll need a generation of confident and successful people who are driven by innovation. This project encompasses all those ideals and that’s why I’m proud to be here tonight.” We’re looking to host our next graduation event in London.
